New Alternatives for Children provides comprehensive social, medical, and mental health services to birth, foster, and adoptive families in NYC caring for children with special medical needs. NAC's goal for each child is permanency in a loving, stable home.

Managed the Agency grants program including, writing, researching, and coordinating all aspects of the grants cycle for a multi-service social service agency with 43 programs, over 200 staff, and a $16+ million annual operating budget. Obtained awards in FY2011 totaling nearly $1.2 million for capital and program needs, including a $335,000 capital grant from the State of Maryland.
