Hello! I'm a neuroscientist-turned-journalist currently working at Vox Media as a Future Perfect fellow, where I report on how to best do good in our rapidly evolving world. Previously, I was a 2023 AAAS Mass Media fellow at WIRED and a 2022 early-career science writing fellow at The Open Notebook. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Ph.D. in neuroscience in 2023. I can be convinced to find nearly anything fascinating, but I especially love to write about brains, biotech, and whatever makes people think about thinking.
