My name is Celia Berridge. I am a qualified Public Relations Manager. I completed my diploma at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and the course was a mixture of both theory and practical from first to final year. I have completed a internship related to the field of study as well. I feel that with the internship as well as the theoretical and practical component of the course I have quite a lot of experience in the field. I have worked in retail for about 10 years, as well as in a call center and am currently a computer lab facilitator for a school. I would consider myself an all rounder with excellent communication skills. My skill set includes organizing and managing an exhibition stand to promote a product or service.Written communication both internal and external; drafting up an agenda, taking and writing minutes. Organizing a fundraising events. Performing Social responsibility. Audio-visual production and presentation; designing and preparing a slide as an audio-visual aid to address a group of people. Drawing up Campaign. Perform feature writing for an in-house journal. Compiling PR programsI have excellent computer literacy skills being the forerunner for our computer programs at our school. I continuously develop my skills by doing ongoing skills development courses in the technical field. currently I am completing my Virtual Assistant course and ideally would like to go into this field permanently.
