Funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada, we work with communities to design walkable, bikeable and liveable places using a process called 'co-design'. I lead the Sustainable Calgary team to develop and implement a made-in-Alberta approach to co-design, develop an evidence-based mandate for investing in healthy places, pursue new research, and advocate for policy change towards healthy and equitable community design. Regular collaborator with VoiceScapes, Luminous Voices, and Juno-winning orchestra Rosa Barocca, and has worked with the Alberta Baroque Society, Festival Chorus, Pro Musica Society, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Wild Rose Trio, and Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. Collaborator on the Juno-nominated album "Sea Dreams" with Luminous Voices and composer Peter-Anthony Togni. Alto soloist for the Calgary premieres of Bach’s Mass in B Minor and St. John Passion at baroque pitch, for which the Calgary Herald described her as “warm-toned and expressive”. Other oratorio productions include Handel’s Messiah and Dixit Dominus, the Vivaldi Gloria and the St. Saens Christmas Oratorio. Operatic and musical theatre roles include Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Annio in La Clemenza di Tito and the Queen in The Queen, the Bear and the Bumblebee. Studied privately with Joy Tappenden, Glyn Evans and Catherine Robbin. Participated in young artist programs including Tafelmusik, the Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, and the Conservatory of Victoria.

Research, writing, and project management. Aimed at addressing the root causes of poverty, this work included the co-authorship of several major reports on poverty in Alberta, Calgary, and Medicine Hat; management of the Living Wage Leader designation program for employers; and administrative support for the independent advocacy group, PovertyTalks.

Created captions and proof-read on projects for the Canada Green Build Council, Consumers Association of Canada (Manitoba branch), and the Royal BC Museums.

Research, writing and project management. Performed case studies on organizations deemed “social enterprises” in the Hillhurst-Sunnyside neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta, which fed into a Master’s Degree Project; performed case studies on green social enterprises in Alberta and BC; performed and published research on newly incorporated co-operatives in Alberta, in partnership with the Alberta Community and Co-operatives Association (ACCA).
