The Healthcare world is like a weed, it grows and expands, and can be difficult to maneuver. There is so much information to understand, so many changes that complicate advocating as a patient or care giver. It does not matter how long you have been a doctor, nurse, or even a leader within a Healthcare organization. The many words that have multifaceted meanings, multitude of treatment plans explicitly developed for each patients need, and determining appropriate billing requirements. It is just a manifestation of multiple letters and numbers which have their own definitions.My position as a professional in the healthcare industry is to advocate for patient education and health care coordination. Insurance carriers have calls holding to answer questions for both patients and providers. All too often its a new person with the same questions.Furthermore, there are some of the same providers calling due to denial of care, authorization verifications, and an attempt to coordinate care that make financial since. All the while, their revenue operations suffers because step therapy is not provided, it is skipped to go straight to the best clinical outcome, and then deemed as not medically necessary. My career goal is to provide assistance to both patients and care providers. There's a need in all avenues to track, contain, and maintain accuracy in coverage education, revenue management as well as maintain up to date documentation which is also regulated by the state and federal government.The many years of experience that I hold in both Healthcare Insurance and patient care coordination has given my heart the jolt it needed to find my niche. I strive to be the next Healthcare Leader paving the road to accuracy and stability for both patient and clinical care outcomes.
