Leading the Parkinson drug discovery project of the C. elegans platform. Managing small team of scientists to develop a robust pipeline to test new small molecules using C. elegans, worm tracker, Leica microscopy. I designed a pipeline that uncovered 49 new ageing genes. I developed high throughput semi-automated molecular and cellular assays to characterise the ageing candidates. I designed and optimised a semi-automated fluorescence assay from the worm preparation to the analysis script to determine the effect of the new ageing candidates. I developed molecular screening assays using microfluidics and RNA-seq to classify the ageing genes.Passionate for data analysis, I developed uncommon analysis to extract the most information out of the data.

I analysed the interplay between the replication and epigenetics using the fission yeast. I determine the role of the histone demethylase 1 (Lsd1) at the replication pause site: MPS1 by developing a sensitive molecular biology assay to quantify the intermediate of replication.

I designed, lead and realised the project. I developed and optimised molecular biology assays and high throughput assays such as whole genome NGS sequencing and ChIP-sequencing to determine the spatial organisation of the proteins involved in the asymmetric cell division of the fission yeast. I developed uncommon computational pipeline to analyse NGS data and I determine the sequencing signature of a natural and persistent single strand break.
