About Celia Castro, M.A.

I have worked in the nonprofit sector across higher education institutions, arts organizations, and at the community level for nearly 10 years. I am deeply committed to working with individuals invested in and centered on making big change happen. I am a passionate communicator, educator, strategic thinker, and eternal optimist who believes in the power of community. I have a razor-sharp focus when it comes to designing meaningful learning opportunities through intentional programming, developing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion action plans for organizations, and empowering communities to uplift marginalized voices and experiences. Currently, I am the Director of Culture and Strategy at University of the Pacific- the oldest university in California.
