Celia currently holds the Group Finance Manager role at Zespri International where her responsibilities focus on the accuracy and completeness of Zespri Groups financial information. She manages a team split into 3 core streams of responsibility, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and key reporting deadlines whilst providing the global Group with advice on technical matters, issue resolution, continuous improvement and audit liaison.Prior to her role as Group Finance Manager Celia was Zespri Internationals Internal Audit Manager. This role involved objectively reviewing Zespri's business processes, evaluating the efficacy of risk management procedures, consideration of fraud, ensuring Zespris compliance with relevant laws and statutes, making recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes, and reporting to the ARMC.She graduated from The University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Accounting and has completed postgraduate study to become a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 2013.Celia worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2012 - 2017 providing assurance on financial performance and operations, external financial reporting obligations, corporate governance procedures, and social and economic sustainability, whilst also evaluating business and financial risks and assessing internal controls.Celia previously worked as Financial Accountant at Six Degrees Executive from 2011-2012 with a focus on developing and improving the existing accounting processes and optimising efficiency and accuracy. Celia worked for Funtastic Ltd from 2007 – 2011 where she gained experience in large, multinational business operations. She held a variety of roles within the Finance team including Group Financial Accountant and Financial Business Analyst which exposed her to a variety of situations including month end processes, rebates, audit compliance, treasury, cost reductions, divestments, due diligence and continuous improvement.
