Having worked in Big 4 and international professional firm for 15 years, I am a self-initiative and proactive problem-solver with excellent team spirit.Major Roles and Achievements :- Formulated the optimal strategies to clients in tackling tax field audit, tax investigation and transfer pricing disputes with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department ("HK-IRD") and accompanied them to conduct meetings with the HK-IRD for the effective settlement of the case;- Applied for advance ruling with the HK-IRD to achieve tax certainty;- Handled tax enquiry from the HK-IRD especially on offshore claims on trading profits, service income and royalty income, capital gain claim on property dealing transactions, deduction of inter-company expenses and tax credit claim;- Actively involved in carrying out review to assess clients’ tax risks from Hong Kong and China tax perspectives, and advising on international tax issues such as PE risks, transfer pricing, tax efficient structure etc;- Reviewed and commented on legal agreements (e.g. intercompany service agreements) from corporate tax, personal tax and transfer pricing perspectives.- Conducted Hong Kong, China and Macau tax due diligence review on IPO and M&A exercises;- Attended and presented at annual international tax conferences held by PKF International in Rome, San Francisco and Toronto;- Internally, prepared and successfully met the annual tax target, formulated strategies, allocated job portfolio to staff and monitored work progress;- Designed and implemented internal standard work procedures;- Participated in staff technical training and personal development.
