Celia started her career in advertising in London in 1995 working for a production company specialising in introducing non-traditional filmmakers to agencies and brands who were looking for something unique. This platform was a formative building block to identifying talent and how to approach creative problem solving differently. After 5 years Celia decided to move back to Sydney and joined The Glue Society, who were pioneering a non-traditional agency model and facilitating in house production for live-action direction, art installations, branding, and design projects.In 2002, Celia’s passion for all things design gave her the opportunity to re-shape a broadcast design company, Engine, from network identity branding into a boutique full-service production and post production company serving Australia’s top advertising agencies for design, shoot and post-production.It was a natural move into visual-effects in 2008 when Celia joined Fuel VFX as their Executive Producer and steered the commercials division toward being the most desired visual-effects studio for both international and local commercial directors.In 2012 Celia was asked to launch the international brand Method Studio’s in Australia as General Manager of the Sydney studio. An artist-driven post-production group offering strategic and creative services to the global advertising market.In a freelance capacity, Celia spent the next 2 years engaging her combined production skills sets working within both large and small advertising agencies and consulting directly to brands.In 2017, Celia co-founded a new production company, Winifred. An opportunity to distill 25 years of experience across strategy, creative development, live-action, design, post-production and visual effects and curate bespoke production solutions across all aspects of film, digital and mixed reality production.In 2022, Celia founded Austin Studio. A multi disciplinary production company, positioning production partnership at the core of their offering to brands, agencies and platforms.
