Research scientist with a diverse analytical background, developed expertise in structural equation modeling, path analysis, growth curve modeling, leverages machine learning regression methods such as XG Boost to advance developmental theory. My research takes a biopsychosocial approach in evaluating risk and protective effects across the lifespan, including early life stress and self-regulation, to identify targets for preventative and intervening efforts that reduce poor outcomes for disadvantaged and disproportionally at-risk young populations. Currently, my research focuses specifically on maximizing the advantages of machine learning to advance developmental theory by identifying sources of multifinality or/and individual differences following early life stress.
