The Students Demand Action Text Team utilizes a peer to peer texting platform to communicate actions, educate our grassroots base, and welcome new students to the movement. A critical part of that organizing is contacting gun violence prevention advocates from across the country to share information and help them get involved. During my time with this team, I've sent over 20,000 texts to the members of this organization.
