Began work here by opening the new Jack Brown convenience store on campus. Left to become an hourly supervisor at the new Einstein Bagels. Closing most days, I was responsible for making sure we had our prep for the next day and ensuring the cleanliness of our dishes, our machines, and our store. The work has been demanding, particularly because of our popularity, but also completely rewarding.

Selling pastries and making sandwiches and coffee drinks with a smile. We were also responsible for keeping the patio, dishes, back room, and bathrooms clean.

Touring California with my Navy husband and Sodexo, my work duties during this time ranged from Cashier to Administrative Assistant, food prep, and even food delivery. I spent the most continuous time (2 years 6 months) in administration filing, working on Accounts Payable and Receivable, inputting payroll, instructing new staff in food safety, and working with their POS system to compile weekly corporate reports. Our off peak time was always spent working with food.
