Proud Moments ABA is a national organization with a mission to provide the gold standard of care for children diagnosed with autism, and help support families. As a behavioral technician, I worked along side a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to treat children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My role is dependent on accurate data entry regarding the child's progress, which allows the BCBA to effectively treat and maintain behaviors.- Providing direct care to clients with ASD in a one-on-one or group therapy setting - Collecting and recording data on patient behavior for health insurance - Collaborating, communicating and assisting with the training of clients, parents and staff- Using applied behavior analysis to enforce treatment plan designed by the BCBA

NBT is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the social and economic issues that affect all city residents.Their vision serves as a guide post for the city’s revitalization, where all New Brunswick residents have the opportunity for a high quality of life; including but not limited to, education, employment, food, health, housing, and safety. As a health communication intern, I prioritized increasing resident awareness of social resources available within the community through social media marketing. My project required me to propose and design a new digitalized system within economic development for the secure storage of important business documentation.- Database design project for the use of economic development department. Result: established secure documentation storage system for tax forms, loan & grant applications.- Attend community outreach events to connect residents to local resources- Content Creation and managed social media to market community health events and health education.
