I joined Anchor as an HR Generalist in 2010, moved into a Senior HR Generalist role in 2013 and have held the HR Manager role since October of 2015. I am responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, serving as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. I assess and anticipate HR and business related needs; identifying and communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management.

As a member of the human resources team, responsibilities are to manage all aspects of the HR function at the site as a business partner in Brooklyn Park including working directly with the leadership teams to establish strategic direction, organization structure and development, HR programs, policies, and procedures. Currently have site responsibility in Brooklyn Park that includes 160 employees and 30 contractors.

As a member of the HR team I had site responsibility for two local sites, acting as a first point of contact for all aspects of HR.-Responsible for the recruitment and hiring process-Administered Employee Benefits -Payroll administration for approximately 150 employees-Filed and maintained Unemployment and Worker's -Compensation claims-Maintained Safety and OSHA requirements-Orientation and training of new employees-Developed and oversaw employee activities including volunteer events-Provided support to HR Manager and complete special projects as assigned
