I am a Managing Director with executive management and Board level experiences in tertiary education and general business bringing in-depth understanding of business and governance in cross cultural contexts. As the foundation MD of Global Business College of Australia (GBCA) since 2014, I have successfully established and operated the Australian tertiary campus of a major Chinese education group, the Edvantage Education Group, a Hong Kong public company.In a significant partnership with the University of Canberra (UC), from 2017, GBCA has established and managed UC’s Melbourne campus on its premises offering high demand UC degree and master programs. The partnership will enable UC to build its brand in Melbourne.In 2017, I also established Edvantage Institute Australia (EIA) as an international higher education campus of the Edvantage Group. EIA is an Australian TEQSA registered private higher education provider. I also have significant general business and project experiences.• I was a key organizer of the 2017 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), held in Melbourne. As local Finance Chair, we attracted sponsorship of AUD $900,000 from government and 40 multinational firms.• I have successfully managed a portfolio of commercial properties in the Melbourne CBD and surrounding areas. • Participation in the G20 Summit as a member of the Business 20 Forum (B20) Employment and Education Task Force over the past 3 years, I provided policy recommendations to G20 leaders on meeting global education and skills needs.• I was the Chief Investigator of a three-year, large scale, Australian Research Council (ARC) funded project titled Cyberbullying Prevention and Detection Systems (2016 – 2019)，which received a government grant of $550,000. In a partnership between GBCA, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Australia Research Alliance for Children and Youth, the project developed technical solutions to address the major social problem of cyberbullying.• Collaborating with CLPS, a global IT and fintech service provider, I established a Financial Innovation Centre at GBCA, which included a Virtual Banking Training Platform into GBCA courses.
