• After working full time in the Students' Union as the VP for Welfare, I gained such passion and drive around what a Students' Union is and what it can do for students, so I ran for a part time position as the School of Humanities Convenor and I was elected by majority vote. This is a position in which I can do alongside my final year in College. • The School Convenor's form a vital part of WIT Students’ Union executive. This body oversees the governance and structures of the Students’ Union. The role of the Convenor in W.I.T is to represent the class reps from each school faculty at the Institute. This includes liaising with all class reps from their respective schools on course and class issues. This is done in tangent with WIT Students’ Union Sabbatical Officers.
