Sciences Po Graduate in European Affairs with a focus on Social Policy and Innovation. My strong interest in promoting gender equality and minority rights in Central- and Eastern Europe motivated me to gain extensive academic as well as professional experience in the field. In my Master thesis I explored the support of the Romanian Diaspora for populist far-right parties in their home country, focusing on economic, political, and social factors.I am the founder of a film festival on European remembrance culture, drawing attention to issues related to wartime sexual violence, war crimes, and community building in the wars in Bosnia, Kosovo, and Ukraine.Moreover, I have participated in multiple initiatives, bringing civil society from Ukraine, Russia, Germany, and France together to speak about current security issues and their effect on the most vulnerable members of society. As a Humanity in Action Senior Fellow, I have facilitated and moderated multiple workshops and panel discussions on anti-Roma racism in Europe. In a co-authored policy paper published by the Youth Think Tank Polis180 I investigated the discrimination of Ukrainian Roma refugees in Moldova and Hungary since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
