The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a large student network with over 500 departments that operate throughout Europe. In the Netherlands, there are 15 departments, with the department of Groningen being one of the largest in the Netherlands. ESN aims to provide (inter)national students with a great experience during their (exchange) study time through a variety of activities, ranging from career events, excursions, integration and language projects as well as sport activities. I occupied the function of Integration Coordinator within the department of ESN Groningen, functioning in a team of 6 people in total. My main tasks were the following:- Directing and implementing integration & language projects- Supervision of 2 committees (consisting of 4-6 persons) that were in charge of organising activities- Application interviews- Leading a project group of 12 people, commissioned by the Municipality of Groningen

This project was commissioned by the Municipality of Groningen.The project group meetings were held weekly, whereas there was also a steering committee, consisting of representatives of the University of Groningen, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, The province of Groningen as well as the Municipality of Groningen.
