Worked closely with Privacy Counsel to update client facing and internal policies and notices to be compliant with the CCPA. Worked on updating existing vendor DPAs to include new SCCs and coordinated with vendors to ensure compliance before the enforcement deadline. Drafted and reviewed documents with Legal, IT and InfoSec to gain ISO security certification. Helped create an employee training module focused on educating CA based employees about their rights under the CCPA.

Worked closely with the Associate General Counsel on contract management and organization in Salesforce and Ironclad. Conducted market research to evaluate information regarding implementation of new SCCs. Drafted internal and customer facing FAQ page regarding Highspot's response to the new SCCs and changes made to the Highspot DPA. Conducted research into pay transparency laws (CO, WA, CA, NYC) and presented findings and my recommendations to the General Counsel.

Worked with the Product Development team to read through, analyze, and annotate customer contracts (mostly MSAs, some DPAs) in order to create a large database to be used for AI Machine Learning. Offered feedback on the quality of the Machine Learning output and worked with the team to create a legal contract database that was tailored to specific customer needs.

Worked on projects with Privacy and Commercial legal departments offering counsel on SaaS transactions. Conducted research on contract term language for trademark usage post acquisition for Marketing Legal. Researched how other SaaS companies comply with GDPR requirements and process EU data. Researched and presented on strategies for creation of diversity initiatives for outside counsel to Legal Ops.
