On my first year on the Reed GTS, working with the Specialisms team. The specialisms initiative has been created to allow reed.co.uk to keep and advance our position as the UK's no.1 job board.

Greeting customers upon arrival, offering them a hot beverage whilst they take a look around or wait for a salesperson. If there are any queries that I am able to answer, I spend time with the customers, getting to know them, building a rapport before finding out what they are interested in within the store. I answer any questions that tehy may have regarding certain items and keep them engaged with the store and myself before a salesperson is free to serve them. I then say goodbye to the customers at the door and thank them for their visit.

Recently graduated with a 2.1 in International Business. In my third year (sandwich year) at university I completed a semester studying International Business at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I then spent six months undertaking a work placement in Paris with VO2 Group and I also worked for a start up company in Paris- SmarterParis; who are now live.

Madrid Area, Spain

As part of the ERASMUS programme I studied in Madrid for one semester. I studied 5 modules, 2 in Spanish and 3 in English. (HRM, marketing, consumer behaviour, business law and business management. I also participated in a Spanish intensive course which involved 40 hours of concrete Spanish language over a fortnight.

I operate the rides, ensuring health and safety is followed and i make sure everyone is satisfied with their trip to the theme park. I also train new members of staff on the rides and make sure they are comfortable with the operations on a day to day aspect at the park.

Sales advisor within the women's department. Worked on the till, supervised the changing/fitting rooms and sorted the shop floor.

I sorted the stock that was delivered, displayed it on the shop floor, made sure the shop floor was presentable, i served customers on the till and I fundraised for them.
