(Almost) Everything there is to know about me in less than 50 words:-Generalist-Proud nerd-Bullet point connoisseur -Bachelor’s in IT, Master’s in HCI-Passionate about creating a better world-Hobbies I’m doing: knitting, painting, walking-Books I’m reading: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/165272012-celine-vendelaThe long version:I am an HCI/IT graduate from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, with a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interactions and a BSc in IT. My studies focused mainly on IT and physical interaction design, but I have also taken courses in e.g. project management, quality management, programming, and web development. During my studies, I was very active in the student chapter. I held roles such as board member with responsibility for equality, safety representative, event coordinator, and head of the business relations committee. In several of these roles I had a leadership position, and I am proficient in driving a team as an empathetic leader.I am searching for a workplace where I can stay for long and develop, and where I feel like I make a difference. As a creative problem-solver, I thrive when I can work on new and exciting solutions. For my MSc Thesis project, I used a somaesthetic design process to explore relaxation from ASMR media, with the purpose of using these elements in relaxing interactions between humans and computers. The results of the study led to the development of a low-fi prototype that used a programmable air pump and a pillow filled with rice to emulate the relaxing sensation of walking on freshly fallen snow. As my BSc Thesis project, we conducted a comparative study of the user experience using native applications and progressive web applications. The results were used to create a tool that could help an organization choose between the development of a native application or the adaptation of a website to a web application.
