Celine Mathews-Negash is an Advisor at Wealthsimple, a Chartered Investment Manager and Certified Financial Planner. She frequently volunteers with the Wealthsimple Foundation, leading workshops and hosting 1:1 sessions to help equity-deserving groups achieve their financial goals. Her passion for finance grew during adolescence with her love of math. While in school, Celine worked for over 10 years in the hospitality industry where guest experience has always been the main focus and goal. Bringing her academic pursuits together with her experience in guest relations, Celine wishes to build a career that helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. Celine is determined and goal-oriented and able to take on multiple demanding tasks at a time while prioritizing time-sensitive assignments. She is zealous when coming up with innovative ways to overcome a common problem and always has been team driven. Her past and present experiences have shaped her to be detail-oriented, adept at time management, diligent in adhering to business policies, as well as communicative within a team. She currently lives in Toronto with her cat Miso. In her free time she loves travelling, diving, reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
