Collecting important documentation such as consent for treatment, HIPPA, and various CMS documentation from patients is a part of the job description.

As an intern, duties included front desk tasks such as answering phones and greeting patients. Working the food pantry and often delivering food to patients who do not have means of transportation. As a special project, I worked with Transportation coordinator to match files with online databases, and set up pick up and drop off times for patients who needed rides to doctors appointments. Another projected included helping a patients with limited technological literacy apply to jobs online.
