During this Internship, I was tasked with correspondence, research, and finding potential students. Most of my work was done online and was mainly focused on conducting primary research for my superiors in the office. This internship allowed me to gain insight into how Universities network with potential students and partners. Although it was a short internship, it was still beneficial for me as I learned the inner workings of an educational establishment, it allowed me to practice hybrid working, and lastly allowed me to practice how to conduct effective research, how to correspond with others and allowed me to work on my communication and negotiation skills as sometimes I was tasked with meeting with potential students and telling them about my experience in IBS and motivating them to choose to continue their studies at IBS.

During the summer of 2021, I interned at Studypedia, which is a Lebanese-based company that aids students during the university application process and other educational requirements. My role was the office intern however, to gain the most experience that I can I went through a job rotation internship where I would work with all the departments and the staff members, aiding wherever I could. I worked with the marketing department, I was asked to do an analysis and study of all the social media of the company and identify their strengths, weakness, and opportunities for growth. I also worked with the marketing department to learn more about how they market themselves and aided in some of the advertisements. I worked with potential customers directly and aided them in the whole journey of applications and meetings, this allowed me to enhance my communication skills and how to conduct myself professionally. I worked with the top management in some instances, I was allowed to sit in meetings with potential students, customers, and partners. I was also able to put some theory into action when I was asked to conduct a competitor analysis and come up with possible strategies to deal with some of the competitors. This internship really allowed me to put many of my skills into action and improve myself, it allowed me to experience working in an office as I had to be there Monday through Friday at set times. Lastly it gave me the opportunity to deal with customers directly and make correspondences with potential partners and offices.

During the summer of 2019, I worked as a marketing assistant manager at Rifai Roastery, I worked with various departments in various store branches. I was tasked with office duties such as organizing schedules, meetings, and paperwork. I also worked with the sales staff directly on the selling floor and they educated me on their sales strategies. Most importantly I worked with the marketing department where I was taught the various methods they use to achieve their marketing goals. I got to sit on meetings with all the various departments such as marketing, sales, and graphic designers and help with brainstorming sessions, and assist the marketing director. During this internship, I also gained some of my first-ever direct customers communication experience, this allowed me to learn how to deal with customers in all aspects

During the summer of 2018, I interned with the ROCK team as part of ACE Agency Metlife as an office assistant. My duties were filing, paperwork, data entry, and planning meetings. The goal of this internship was to gain experience in the inner workings of keeping an office organized and running smoothly. I believe that being organized, and having excellent time management skills, computer skills, and general secretarial skills are essential to have regardless of the position one ends up in.
