Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been passionately interested in looking at designs and figuring outhow they could be made to work better. I’ve always been curious about designing things andthen revising them over and over until they meet the needs they’re designed for.As an Aerospace Engineering student, I focused on the commercial aviation industry, with aspecial interest in researching the history of aircraft design and procedure changes. For mySenior Design Project, I conducted flow simulation over various 3D wing geometries usingANSYS Fluent and researched an estimated 24% operational cost-benefit of electric propulsionfor the commercial aviation industry.
