I am a dedicated public health leader with over a decade of experience advancing health equity, environmental health, and community well-being through innovative, evidence-based programs. My career has been focused on managing large-scale public health initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships, and advocating for impactful policy changes that address social determinants of health in underserved communities.Throughout my professional journey, I have collaborated with over 50 organizations and institutions, including Johns Hopkins University and Wellpoint, to drive meaningful improvements in public health outcomes. I’ve trained over 300 community health workers nationwide, presented at more than 35 public events, and helped to secure over $3.5 million in funding to reduce childhood asthma and lead poisoning rates.Currently, as Director of Family Advocacy Services at Green & Healthy Homes Initiative, I oversee critical public health programs that focus on asthma and lead poisoning reduction, helping to reduce missed school days for asthmatic children and lowering lead poisoning rates by more than 55% in East Baltimore.
