I am a Senior at Clark Atlanta University. Currently, I am seeking a Bachelor of Art in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. My biggest strength is my ability to create harmony while working in a team-like setting. I often play the role of the peacemaker and strive to resolve conflict and find a common ground for all team members. Another strength of mine is my ability to win people over. This skill is often displayed when meeting new people throughout campus. I tend to make good first impressions on people and I find it easy to build meaningful relationships. My ability to relate with others helps me to gain a better understanding of their strengths, preferences and goals. I utilize these skills as a brand ambassador at my part-time job with Bath Fitter. I can easily connect with a diverse range of customers and often receive compliments on my professionalism and helpfulness.I am motivated greatly by customer and client satisfaction. I also tend to thrive in team settings. I am naturally witty, and I enjoy the satisfaction of being able to win people over. This characteristic provides me with the initiative to build a strong relationship with each team member. My extensive experience in retail and customer service have provided me with the skills necessary to collaborate with team members in a way that will maximize productivity. For example, I fulfilled my role as a crew leader at my previous job by ensuring that all crew members were correctly trained and confident in their ability to complete their assigned tasks. My interests in the analysis of financial decisions and understanding the flow of finances through corporations give me a strong desire to pursue a career on the financial side of business. After college, I aim to find a job as a financial analyst in a successful, diverse and inclusive corporation. Eventually, I plan to start my own business.
