 To deliver and assess Pipe Fitting engineering courses. To develop and maintain the current Pipe Fitting engineering course material including lesson plans and schemes of work for a range of courses. Assist in assessing, changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement. Maintain effective and efficient record-keeping procedures.  To review course content and delivery methods on a regular basis. Assume responsibility for meeting his/her course and learner performance goals. To ensure all relevant evidence of learning is accurately and correctly documented and completed for each learner. Provide feedback and support to learners on a one to one/ group basis. To assist in the overall development of the training center. To assist in the delivery of course material outside of the subject of Pipe Fitting engineering. To prepare and assist in internal and external audits. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Training Manager.

 Coordinate to project/Site Engineer for the daily activities depending on the approved trench formation level. Coordinate to the warehouse material coordinator for the materials to be delivered at the site; Responsible for the daily activities and resources (manpower, machinery, materials, etc. are effectively utilized and monitored in order to achieve HSE and quality requirements. Supervise the loading and unloading, stringing and pipe laying and alignment of GRP and Ductile Iron pipes for wet utilities for the sewage service line. Supervise the sand bedding, pipe laying and surround of UPVC pipe for dry utilities such as Ooredo network, ITS (Intelligent Transportation System and Street Light.) Responsible for the daily progress to each foreman at the site. Coordinate the project engineer and site engineer to the problems that arise at the site and implement technical queries. Maintain a safe secure and healthy work environment by the following and enforcing standard and procedure complying with legal regulation.

 Check that the materials comply with specifications and report any missing materials in order to complete the task. Fabricate and assemble the piping, reporting any anomalies or interference. Ensure that the equipment used for the job is safe for use, in good state of maintenance.  Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. Perform the piping erection and hydro test activity in a safe manner. Knowing to interpret all kinds of drawing which is related to piping works. Selects the type and size of pipe and related materials according to job specifications. Inspects worksites to determine the presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes will not cause structural weakness. Plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers. Cuts pipe, using a hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machine. Threads pipe, using threading machine. Bends pipe by hand or with a pipe-bending machine. Assembles and installs a variety of metal and nonmetal pipe and pipe fittings, including those made of brass, copper, lead, glass, and plastic. Involved in hydro testing, air blowing, and punch listing of lines prior to commissioning. Perform the duty within a good safe manner. Coordinate with my fellow workers to the safety and quality works.

 Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with agreed method statements, risk assessments and job safety analysis, ensure that the contractor maintains standards within work areas. Carryout witness, inspection and surveillance checks in accordance with Site Quality Plans and procedures. Ensure that all safety practices and procedures for safe working are fully implemented. Carry out progressive punch listing within the authorized areas of responsibility to ensure that the works are completed to the fullest extent possible prior to acceptance of the work. Sign-off punch lists after the completion of the work. Make sure that construction plant equipment certification is current and inspection and maintenance are carried out in the prescribed manner. Make sure that all necessary safe working and tag/lockout procedures implemented during pre-commissioning. Ensure that method statements, risk assessments and job safety analysis has been undertaken and agreed prior to the commencement of any new work activity if the activity has any potential to material or personnel. Attend contractors HSE toolbox talks and safety meetings. Planning of Work and scheduling. Work permit management for safe working. Records keeping & File work for administrative purposes.

 Overall and final walkthrough, Pre-Start up Safety Review (PSSR) of all piping system related compressor, gas turbine, and steam turbine. Final walkthrough, PSSR of all piping system and mechanical components prior to plant gas-in. Inspection and witnessing of high-pressure leak test of Nitrogen. Witness and inspect all piping and mechanical related works as per project specification and international standard. Witnessing of pneumatic and hydrostatic tests as per the company’s approved procedure. Inspection of piping system completeness (Process and Utility) prior to mechanical activities. Line walking of the piping system, reinstatement of lines and associated piping components after pre-mechanical completion activities. Check official test pack prior to release for hydro testing by ensuring all welding inspection and NDE activities affecting the quality of welds contained in each piping spool of an isometric drawing have been completed and accepted.

 Direct management of manpower on-site such as foremen, pipefitters, labours, scaffolders, welders etc. Work with the site planning/scheduling team. Responsible for receiving all necessary materials and engineering deliverables for construction execution. Responsible for preparing a method of statement and construction detailed daily schedule, prepare and revise labours mobilization and demobilization schedule. Request for approval of equipment usage, drawing schedule adjustment. Work front verification, monitoring of work productivity. Preparation and submission of a daily report. In charge of the safety management of labor and equipment. Follow up QC related work. Perform construction activities in accordance with the schedule and all technical requirements. Familiarization/review of project drawings, specification, project standard and other pertinent documents related to piping and structural works. Supervise the repair and maintenance of the piping systems including valves, heat exchangers and all kinds of static equipment. Reading of P&ID, isometric and piping class and project specification. Establish comprehensive plans and procedures for site or field piping control. Implement the proper edge preparation fit up as per the weld joint design in case of the high pressure line. Supervise the hydrostatic and pneumatic testing for process and utility piping. Supervise piping spools and pipe support fabrication and erection at pipe rack, around equipment, pumps, and package equipment. Carry out the line checking/punch listing prior to the pressure test. Supervision of final reinstatement of all piping components including valves, inline instruments that have been removed or not install during or before pressure test.

 Review and evaluates all project QA/QC requirements and specifications, project designs, construction drawings, procedures, methodologies, and material specification. Inspects, check and identifies piping materials that are being fabricated and properly installed to determine their conformity to the requirements of the isometric drawings and materials specification. Conduct field inspections works on regular basis such as visual check, dimensional check, witnessing of all piping and mechanical testing. Maintain an orderly record of all inspection reports and test conducted Ensure that all activities in piping erection, fabrication and welding, NDT was performed within the specification, quality and safety requirements. Prepare and check official test pack prior to release for hydro testing by ensuring all welding inspection and NDE activities affecting the quality of welds contained in each piping spool of an isometric drawing have been completed and accepted.

 Review and evaluates all project QA/QC requirements and specifications, project designs, construction drawings, procedures, methodologies, and material specifications. Provide technical assistance to the welding team to ensure full quality control of welding operation. Conduct field inspections work on a regular basis such as visual check, dimensional check, witnessing of all piping and mechanical testing. Maintain an orderly record of all inspection reports and test conducted Assist in checking Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) Ensure the transfer of specification and heat numbers during the cutting of pipes and plates. Review all applicable codes, project specifications, engineering standards, Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and applied during an inspection.

 Carried out inspection of the site along with client representative to ensure that the requirements of materials are obeyed with the specification.
