I developed the following projects at Santos Lab:(1) Visual recognition of nematodes: I used the convolutional neural network models Faster-RCNN and Mask-RCNN to classify the images obtained from a microscope. The goal of the project is to automate some lab processes to reduce company costs. We used Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow and Keras.(2) Farm productivity prediction: I used a deep learning model for Crop Yield Prediction to estimate the productivity of farms that grow soybeans. The developed model receives as input data the satellite images collected at certain crops of the farm and to the productivities of the farm (and in each crop) in previous harvests. We used Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Keras and QGIS.(3) Management system for rotational grazing: I used modeling of biophysical systems to create a model that was capable of managing the entire rotational grazing structure aimed at maximizing milk production and the amount of nutrients in milk. The modeling was based on the biophysical model of the SEPATOU system. The project is in the initial phase and we used Python and Matlab libraries with differential equations. Show less

I have developed the following projects:(1) Product recommendation: I created a recommender system using text mining taking into account the description of each product and the consumption profile of individual customers and customer groups. I used frequent item mining algorithms and context-based recommender systems. I used Java with the JPretext, PostgreSQL and PHP library with the Laravel framework.(2) Recipe Mining: I've created a crawler that can mine data from the “Tudo Gostoso” site and mount dashboards similar to those in the Veganized app. I used Python and Java with the JPretext library.(3) Data Visualization for Marketing Strategies: I've created a heatmap containing consumption data for each product to assist with marketing actions in specific locations in the city. Information was extracted such as "people in region X consume 80% more fries with hamburger compared to people in region Y."
