CELT have been running successful and very popular 'Weekend in the Hills' traditional and ecological skills training events every Spring and Autumn for the past 18 years, with a choice from up to 15 courses on offer for up to 100 trainees at introductory and intermediate levels. We also provide basic training in sustainable woodland management skills, agroforestry and some associated crafts and recently formed a Knowledge Transfer Group of 20 woodland owners. We organise informative farm-woodland / agroforestry field trips and open days. CELT assist with management of Tuamgraney Community Woodland Wildlife Park, Co.Clare, in association with Tuamgraney Development Association and Woodland League. This award-winning project is also supported by the Heritage Council, Clare County Council and the Forest Service.We have a tree nursery specialising in native trees and shrubs of certified provenance, also including a selection of popular fruit and nut species suitable for agroforestry.
