2018, October 22nd-25th: I had a chance to work as an interpreter in a 3- days workshop on Gender and Representation by the artist Ludmilla Christeseva and Assoc. Prof. Louise Wallenberg in Ege University. After the workshop I interpreted Christeseva's opening speech and personal dialogs at her installation called "Fashion Speaks Sisterhood." During these events, I used both consecutive and whispered interpreting. 2018, November 7th-8th: I also worked in the 1st International Midwifery Training and Research Development Congress in Ege University as an interpreter. There were 5 distinguished participants from various countries and each of them delivered speeches on midwifery education in Europe and lots of other topics. Again, I used consecutive and whispered interpreting. 2019, December 13th: I worked in one of the panels of the Ege University Faculty of Letters 1st International Symposium on Arts and Humanities as a simultaneous interpreter. The main theme of the symposium was migration and the panel I worked in revolved around migration and migrant experience in Izmir, Turkey.
