My current research focuses on design and fabrication of robotic materials which can achievefunctionality in small volumes, focusing mostly on soft materials. I employ various additivemanufacturing methods (including FDM single/multi material 3D printing, SLA printing,inkjet printing, additive-subtractive manufacturing). I utilize these fabrication methodsto design and construct terrestrial, aerial, and aqueous robot bodies and locomotionmechanisms for untethered robotic platforms. I mechanically design, integrate, control therobots I make, and analyze the maneuverability of them.

My scope of work included the mechanical designs for turret components and technicallifecycle management of the weapon systems.

I designed user interface systems that were fitted onto armored personnel carriers, mediumbattle tanks, and tank hunters.

My research focused on design and fabrication of soft miniature robots and their locomotionmechanisms. I also did integration of control algorithms, electronics and flexible PCBmanufacturing, 3D printing, and soft lithography for the miniature untethered robots Imade. Simultaneously, I acted as a teaching assistant for undergraduate capstone projectcourses, overseeing multiple groups’ progress and providing them consultancy
