Served as project manager, editor, and writer of the Johnson & Johnson annual report from 2006-2013. Gathered and selected stories, assigned writers, facilitated legal and regulatory reviews and provided proofreading on-press in the years the report was still printed. Worked with a team of designers to move the report online, setting up the current approach of stories produced online throughout the year feeding the web-based annual report.Lead team member, strategist, and writer of Johnson & Johnson sustainability report from 2008-2017. Moved from self-assured Global Reporting Initiative G-3 report to an independently assured G4 report, with the full internal audit.Writer and editor of Johnson & Johnson corporate contributions reports for 2010 and 2012.Wrote CEO letters and assisted a medical device and a real estate services company with corporate social responsibility reports in 2018. Provided copy editing and copy development for corporate Web projects, developed presentation content and scripts for executive management meetings, and developed quarterly business communications to hundreds of employees. Completed project work for Local Wisdom and Scholastic.

Strategized plans for a major global study announcement in diabetes, executed senior leader internal communications and managed global issues.

Developed presentation content and scripts for use by pharmaceutical executives in internal management meetings and with external stakeholders, including potential partners and business analysts.Developed an intranet for the global pharmaceutical communications function facilitating dotted line relationships and best practice sharing that proved especially helpful in maximizing internal communications channels.

Directed global product and patient-focused communications activities in Women’s Health (birth control, IUD, yeast infection, hormone replacement) and Men’s Health (premature ejaculation).Donated Ortho-Dialpak® to the Smithsonian Museum in 2000 to commemorate nearly 70 years of innovation by Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals and the 35th anniversary of the birth control pill.

Led teams and executed programs dealing with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, suicide prevention, and cardiovascular disease, including stroke, use of statins and cholesterol lowering. Won a Silver Anvil and a Golden Apple award for a campaign about OCD in children. Brainstormed, strategized, developed and presented client proposals and PR plans for Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals Inc., Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Warner-Lambert, Merck & Co. Inc., and Pfizer, Inc. Conducted media tours with spokespeople including Peggy Fleming, Johnny Unitas, Mariette Hartley, Marc Summers, and Jacquelyn Mayer (Miss America 1963 and stroke survivor).

I worked multiple stints at WNYP/WKRT in news and sometimes also as business office assitant starting in 1988 between high school and college, and every summer during college. This was the last time between junior and senior years. I did some freelance work for them again later between September 1993 and January 1994. It was small town radio with people who had formerly worked in major markets -- Learned alot.
