Organising, and recruiting volunteers for, campaigning, deliveries, doorstep and telephone canvassing, clerical and other activities, and contributing to the general running of political campaigns. Diary management, writing and production of leaflets and literature, website and social media management, general logistics, administration and record keeping. Responsible for supervision, planning and organisation of teaching room media/audiovisual services across the University's campus, including supervision if technical staff, design and purchasing of audiovisual systems (including participating in UK and EU tender processes for up to £500K), equipment and consumables, designing and implementing administrative systems for the service, creating and maintaining databases of facilities and equipment, researching new technologies for possible teaching use, preparing reports on service performance and future developments for University committees, and representing the department on internal University committees, and the University on relevant external bodies such as SCHOMS and and the HEPCW AV Purchasing group.

Preparing food and serving bar meals to customers, while maintaining general cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, with an awareness of hygiene standards and relevant health and safety regulations.

General sales assistant selling musical instruments and associated equipment, and assisting customers in choosing the right instruments, amplifiers, etc. for their needs.
