I am a seasoned executive with a strong background in steel production, materials science, and sustainable industrial processes. After completing my undergraduate and graduate education in Materials Science and Engineering at Anadolu University, I began my career at Bilecik Iron and Steel Company in 2014 as a Meltshop Production Engineer. I later held key roles, including Meltshop Production Manager (2019 to October 2023) and Factory Manager, before being appointed General Manager on August 1, 2024.Throughout my career, I have led several projects aimed at enhancing both operational efficiency and sustainability. One notable example is the implementation of **digital twin technology** in our steel production, which earned first place in the 2023 **Productivity Project Awards** in the digital transformation category. This initiative improved real-time monitoring and significantly boosted energy efficiency.I also led the **Zirconia Waste Recovery** project, which received second place in the 2021 Productivity Project Awards. This project was critical in improving waste management and reducing raw material costs, aligning with our long-term sustainability goals.I have been a speaker at national and international conferences, sharing insights on topics such as **decarbonization** and **carbon-oxygen balance in EAF processes**. I presented at the **9th International Iron and Steel Symposium (EFRS 2024)** and the **12th National Metallurgy and Materials Days**, focusing on green manufacturing and the future of sustainable steel production.With extensive experience in **lean manufacturing, process optimization**, and **critical raw material recovery**, I am committed to guiding Bilecik Iron and Steel toward a future of innovation and sustainability. My leadership focuses on collaboration, continuous improvement, and leveraging advanced technologies to meet industry challenges and opportunities.
