• Led four research projects on single particle ICP-MS method development for direct aerosol metal salts and metallic nanoparticle characterization•Develop real-time spICP-MS for nanoparticle characterization directly from ambient pressure aerosol•Write codes in MATLAB for data analysis to achieve better-customized functions than commercial software•Build up hyphenation method from different aerosol instruments to ICP-MS for online separation and measurements (DMA-spICP-MS, CPMA-spICP-MS, TGA-ICP-OES,)•Build up gas phase TEM sample capture method together with electron microscopy (SEM, TEM, SAED, EDX) with image analysis (MATLAB, Fiji-ImageJ)•Quality control for ultra-pure nitric acid and rare earth elements recycling analysis•Collobrate four research projects with ETH&EMPA for aerosol metal microfluidics sensor design and fabrication•Collobrate one project with electrochemical group for electrocatalyst degradation analysis•Delivering progress and networking with project stakeholders. •Disseminating results in project deliverables, scientific publications, and international conferences. • Supporting in supervising junior colleagues. • Managing lab and experimental facilities. Documenting SOPs.
