ERS is a national non-profit that partners with district, school, and state leaders to transform how they use resources. As a Principal Associate at ERS, I worked with districts such as Shelby County (Memphis) and Indianapolis to ensure that resources are distributed equitably and transparently. This involved creating funding formulas to distribute over $500 million in school funding. I have also worked with various principals and teachers to help their schools adopt innovative school designs.

Breakthrough New York is a rigorous 6-week academic intensive college access program for high-potential and underserved middle school students. As a Teaching Fellow, I taught Geometry to rising 9th Grade students and impacted achievement by average gains of 456% (from an average of 20% on the pre-test to 90% on the post-test).

Being a Career Prep Fellow granted me the opportunity to participate in an 18-month professional development program specifically tailored to high-achieving diverse talent. I worked to complete business case studies and intensive projects in order to hone my analytical, quantitative and communication skills.

I spent a summer exploring Technoserve's model of consulting small businesses with an eye towards economic development. I worked in collaboration with the commercial department; integrating Peruvian small business owners to markets by planning events such as showcase conferences.
