I managed the Cancer Survivorship Program at NCIS, creating a supportive environment where patients could connect with fellow survivors to share experiences, provide mutual support, and foster encouragement. The programme offered a variety of activities, including educational sessions led by dietitians on nutrition and wellness, as well as guidance from the nursing team on self-care. Additionally, we organized engaging, hands-on activities such as cooking classes and craft workshops. These initiatives were designed to promote a sense of community, encourage holistic recovery, and empower survivors to take an active role in their health and well-being beyond their treatment.In addition, I oversaw the DREAMMAKERS programme at NCIS, a newly launched initiative aimed at helping patients with advanced cancer fulfill their personal dreams and aspirations. The programme seeks to enhance patients' quality of life by offering hope and encouragement beyond clinical care. By listening to patients’ wishes, we strive to turn them into reality, whether large or small. Through DREAMMAKERS, we aim to demonstrate that there is life beyond cancer, providing moments of joy and positivity to help patients navigate their journey. This initiative fosters fulfillment, empowerment, and connection, uplifting spirits and bringing meaning to their fight against cancer.
