As a lecturer and marketing expert in logistics industry, I have combined my academic and professional backgrounds to teach and research on topics related to logistics and transportation management. I hold a PhD in Business Administration from Dokuz Eylul University, where I also taught part-time for 1.5 years. Previously, I lectured at Izmir University of Economics for another 1.5 years, covering subjects such as transportation management and maritime transportation management.In addition to my academic pursuits, I have over 10 years of working experience in the shipping and transport industry, where I have held various sales and marketing positions. I have worked for leading companies such as Arkas Shipping as an agent of Hanjin Shipping, where I have developed and implemented sales strategies, managed customer relationships, and coordinated with internal and external stakeholders. I have also published a book on the logistics sector and the role of dry ports in enhancing foreign trade volume. My core competencies include analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of marketing, and I seek to contribute to the field with my diverse perspectives and experiences.
