I am a Chilean engineer with 15+ years of experience in the low-carbon, resilient and sustainable development arena. I have worked for both, private and public sector entities, and also for climate coalitions, international cooperation and UN agencies. I have advised national States in the context of the UNFCCC regime and facilitated participative national processes aiming at defining low-emission development strategies, selection/prioritization of mitigation and adaptation measures, and assessing co-benefits of climate policies. I have a very good understanding of the international climate agenda and the UNFCCC. I also have proven track record originating climate bankable projects and mobilizing climate finance from dedicated climate funds/programs, but also regulated and voluntary carbon market schemes. In the current Anthropocene epoch I am committed to sustainable and social inclusive development, which through technological innovation shall propel the required transformational changes. I have on-the-ground working experience in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, El Salvador, Panama, Mozambique, Federated States of Micronesia and The Netherlands. I am eager to work for a climate compatible development wherever is needed.
