I helped open this location, I was the first cashier hired. My duties included helping train new front staff, stocking shelves, performing transactions, Accepted Vendor Orders, I adhered to cash handling policies and procedures. Answered phone calls, directed them to the pharmacy or the manager's office. Returned non-purchased items to locations. Obtained thorough knowledge of products sold to assist customers with locating and purchasing items. Maintained merchandise displays, including end caps, floor displays, and aisles. Bagged and packaged customer orders and purchases, Processed checks, debit and credit cards, EBTs, WIC checks, refunds, product coupons, and gift certificates. I spent most closing shifts in the back throwing freight, using a pallet jack, we had an upstairs so we had to put our pallets in an elevator before moving them to the proper location.
