Wellers Hill Medical Centre located in Tarragindi is a large diverse practice with many facets of healthcare, with seventeen General Practitioners and four Specialists and a large nursing team currently working at the center.My roles as a Medical Administrator included:- Using medical software (Best Practice)- Managing Hot Doc bookings- Organising incoming and outgoing medical records for patients and other medical clinics - Always ensuring patient confidentiality- Greeting patients, visitors, and specialists- Answering the telephone- Scheduling appointments and amending online appointments made by patients- Booking minor procedures - Billing outpatients including specialists’ patients (Using EFTPOS, SQUARE and Medicare/ DVA)- Ensuring the correct Medicare item numbers have been applied- Completely daily banking and ensuring every transaction is correct- Training new team members- Adding specialists referrals to patients files and checking if they are valid
