One word I would use to describe myself is adaptable. I have always been very quick to grasp and learn new concepts. This ability played a pivotal role in helping me become the person I am today. When I took my first finance/accounting courses, I immediately knew that a career in this field was something I wanted to pursue. I have had a variety of experiences that led me to where I am today. As a freshman, I worked on campus as a Peer Success Mentor. This provided me with the opportunity to meet with many different students with whom I offered advice and guidance or simply listened to their issues. This environment also helped me to realize that I loved connecting and working with others. As I went through my academic career, one positive experience led to another, reaffirming my desire to excel in this field. I am very excited to have the opportunity to pursue my career, achieve my goals, and to become the professional I know I can be!
