My role involves collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure that the perspectives of younger generations are integrated into the policies and actions that shape our collective future. Through this position, I aim to address key issues affecting quality of life, including sustainable development, climate action, and social inclusion, while fostering a space for youth to be catalysts for change.My involvement in the UN-Habitat Quality of Life Initiative is a continuation of my passion for shaping a future where every young voice can contribute to improving global well-being. I remain committed to empowering youth and advocating for policies that ensure a higher quality of life for all.

Querétaro Delegate in the Youth Network for the 2030 Agenda. Main activities to be carried out: 1. Be the youth liaison with the public and private sectors, civil society, and academia.2. Generate links with other states and networks of sustainable development activists to promote spaces for dialogue and the exchange of experiences, challenges, and best practices. 3. Encourage the use of social networks to talk about and raise awareness of sustainable development. 4. Provide training and awareness-raising workshops on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals in schools and universities, as well as in community spaces.

Mendelian Genomics & Precision Health Laboratory Principal Investigator: Claudia Gonzaga-Jáuregui, Ph.DThis laboratory aims to study the molecular causes of human genetic and genomic disorders to understand their mechanisms and pathophysiology. Additionally, we study the frequency and effects of disease-associated alleles in the Mexican and Latin American populations to better understand the burden of genetic disease that may allow the implementation of more equitable precision health.

Cancer Genetics & Bioinformatics LaboratoryPrincipal Investigator: Daniela Robles-Espinoza, Ph.DIn this laboratory, we are interested in investigating genomic drivers and genetic predisposition to cancer, in the context of Latin American populations, especially Mexicans. At the moment, we are focused on the genetics of the malignant skin cancer melanoma but we are hoping to eventually study other cancers of relevance in Mexico and Latin America
