Liaises with other departments, Rig managers, OIM’s, client’s safety representative. Advices on matters affecting verification & technical safety. Provides support by providing input to HAZOP’s, HAZIDs or other Safety Reviews as directed. Carries out safety & environmental studies and produces technical reports. Supports Safety & Environmental Case Thorough Review process where required. Supports the Rig Manager in the assessment of anomalies, deviations from standard, developing risk mitigation & producing technical reports where appropriate. Assists in the preparation, maintenance of Safety Case & Written Scheme of Verification for all Offshore units. Assists in the implementation of conformance to new legislative requirements & industry standards.
