Roving Qhse Advisor
CurrentResponsible for implementation and monitoring of HSE Policies, standards, procedures, and also the Safety Management System and all matters related to QHSE and direct the QHSE division by providing guidance to ensure all regulatory standards and support to the business.Contributes to the continuous improvement of the company’s Management System & related supporting documents. Improves the existing working procedures as necessary & ensures that relevant data is reflected in the Management System. Assist in QHSE projects/campaigns when required in conformance with the corporate improvement schedule. Prepares & maintains quarterly QHSE statistics. Assist in incident reporting & investigation & ensures that Lessons from Incidents are properly applied offshore to avoid similar incidents. Assist & maintains the status of corrective actions derived from incidents in the corrective action database. Ensures all personnel are informed of, and supported in, eventual changes in the area of quality, welfare, health and (occupational) safety. Performs audits. Does site visits Offshore to verify workability of the QHSE processes, related documents & provide guidance. Assists in the preparation of QHSE meetings / Tenders / COMOPS doc. Liaises with other departments, Rig managers, OIM’s, client’s safety representative. Advices on matters affecting verification & technical safety. Provides support by providing input to HAZOP’s, HAZIDs or other Safety Reviews as directed. Carries out safety & environmental studies and produces technical reports. Supports Safety & Environmental Case Thorough Review process where required. Supports the Rig Manager in the assessment of anomalies, deviations from standard, developing risk mitigation & producing technical reports where appropriate. Assists in the preparation, maintenance of Safety Case & Written Scheme of Verification for all Offshore units. Assists in the implementation of conformance to new legislative requirements & industry standards.
