I am entrusted with overseeing Candid’s Global Partnerships team and scaling the organization's information pipeline internationally. My team and I build, maintain, and establish medium and long-term strategic relationships with philanthropic organizations, governmental agencies, multilateral agencies, and the broader social sector. Candid is currently focused on the standardization and collection of demographic data for the U.S. social sector. I'm personally driven by the opportunity to bring more transparency, measurability, and accountability to the sector, in order to support more equitable grantmaking practices and ensure more impact dollars go to proximate leaders and BIPOC-led organizations.

Listen4Good was created in 2016 by Fund for Shared Insight as a part of its effort to promote high-quality listening and equity-driven feedback practices across the social sector. Listen4Good looks at client feedback as a self-reinforcing loop. We support nonprofits in building sustainable systems, characterized by a continuous cycle of honest input and thoughtful response with their clients. In turn, this leads to more inclusive practices and more authentic client partnerships.

AVPN is building a collaborative community of social investment experts consisting of academics, practitioners, technical experts, impact investors, government representatives, policymakers and social entrepreneurs that share a collective vision to inspire large-scale transformative change. The Hult Prize is a massive global platform (1000+ Universities) for student-led innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2012 it was named by President Clinton and TIME Magazine as 'One of the Top 5 Ideas Changing the World'.Cesar was responsible for growing and scaling Hult Prize's National Program, leveraging the brand equity and knowledge gained over the last 7 years, with the principle focus of empowering local entrepreneurs in order to solve local social challenges. He executed fundraising strategies for several key markets, with a principal focus on Latin America. He was also responsible for developing partnership agreements with international entities that seek to empower social entrepreneurs in order to maximize positive social impact.

Goldemar is a social enterprise spin-off from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya producing advanced materials for emission abatement and air purification applications. It does so by leveraging nanotechnology, having developing a gold-based catalyst with unique properties to address climate related pollutants. Goldemar produces the only catalyst in the world that can eliminate pollutants at ambient temperatures while in the presence of humidity.Cesar was responsible for leading the Business Development Department for Goldemar, focused on building a global customer network. His responsibilities included customer relationship and account management for B2B sales, covering 8 international markets. He created and implemented a strategic plan focused on global expansion and expedited cash flows, as well as spearheaded fundraising and investor relationship management. Cesar was responsible for writing monthly Shareholder Reports outlining commercial progress, as well as P/L and Balance Sheet activity. Cesar is a generalist troubleshooter whose role often revolved around internal consulting. Cesar was instrumental in securing partnerships with multiple Fortune 500 corporations, as well as industry specific niche SMEs.

Origin is a social enterprise that empowers small local retailers to play a greater role in addressing food insecurity and financial exclusion in urban slums. Collectively, these shops represent the vast majority of the retail trade in the developing world, but their fragmented and inefficient supply chain force the poor to pay a premium for food and other basic goods. Origin offers a low cost tablet with a tailored point of sale system to small retailers. Our platform aggregates purchase orders and reshapes the supply chain, creating a positive cycle of increasing margins for their business as well as more affordable food for the slum dweller.Origin leverages the value of big data by delivering real time customer analytics and market insights to consumer goods companies, allowing them to better understand and serve the needs of the urban poor. With thousands of small shops connected on our network we can better engage with the private sector and create a world where small retail makes a big impact on global food security.As Co-Founder and CFO Cesar spearheaded fundraising opportunities, successfully raising $100,000 of equity free financing. Structured strategic partnerships with TechnoServe (India), The Foundation for Mother and Child Health (Mumbai), and the prestigious Indian government's Aadhaar Program. Launched successful pilots in Mumbai, India (2013) and in Accra, Ghana (2014). Pitched at the renowned Clinton Global Initiative Conference (CGI) in New York in 2013 in front of an illustrious judges panel including Nobel Prize winner Dr. Muhammad Yunus (Grameen Bank founder), Mo Ibrahim (Celtel Founder) and Premal Shah (Kiva co-founder).

Bright Ideas is an award-winning lighting and production company specializing in event lighting for cities, shopping centers, private communities and small businesses.Cesar started off as an employee in 2005, became co-owner in 2007, and sole owner in 2009. He sold the business in 2012 and operated as a business consultant until 2014. Cesar was responsible for all direct sales and account management, securing 100+ accounts every year. He was responsible for ensuring project scope, as well as maintaining schedule and budget at all times. He hired and trained 8 employees, ranging from office assistant to laborers and mangers. Cesar was able to identify key trends in HOA contract awards in order to continually drive sales. He engaged with the senior leadership of the largest property development groups in Orange County in order to secure new contracts. He did so by creating pitch decks, performing sales presentations, and maintaining close business relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

Cesar was invited to teach Undergraduate Statistics adjunct courses as a Sophomore. He was promoted to Senior Tutor after one semester. He continued teaching Statistics as a tutor for collegiate athletes throughout his Junior and Senior years.
