Within the Global Philanthropy (GP) Executive Office Team I was able to support department-wide strategic planning, business management, and organizational development. I was able to share outliers/trends within process steps, budget years, and markets in order to guide support models and aid in tailoring organizational design that maximizes efficiency.• Designing department-wide tool to facilitate successful change management using research and frameworks in organizational behavior.• Supporting migration from legacy systems to modern CRM platforms through data mapping and cleanup.

Under my first presidency term, I focused on SHPE at SMU's mid-term growth horizon: developing new opportunities. With strong leadership and dedication to our new initiatives we ended up expanding our paid-membership base by trifold and gaining capital fundraising of over $900. Our expanded opportunities included:• Establishing two annual student-led recruitment events with a focus on underclassmen engagement—reaching over 100 students total.• Launching an app-development program focused on developing technical skills and providing a project opportunity for students to develop a food-waste reduction application.• Pioneering a community outreach web-series encompassing k-12 STEM awareness reaching over 6 Dallas ISD schools and an event partnership with Lockheed Martin.

I work at CPI's Satcom & Antenna Technologies division, the world’s leading end-to-end provider of ground-based satellite communications products. My time at CPI has given me exposure to industry standards, various project areas, and most importantly—valuable learning opportunities. My impact thus far can be seen through:• Creating an approved cost-analysis/licensing breakdown for software based on a 4-figure budget.• Re-designing monitor/tracking screens for the ACS product line emphasizing UX principles.• Programming automated testing scripts for monitor/control systems aimed to save labor hours during product QA testing.
