Conduct studies and propose improvements to the overall process flow and spatial utilization based on Lean Manufacturing principles. Perform time studies and update time standards. Lean Manufacturing line design using One Piece Flow, line balancing (cycle time studies), Standard Work, poka yokes for Built In Quality and meeting CTQs (Critical To Quality specifications) Line designed for a takt time of 325 sec, and production rates of 12 units per hour Use of AutoCAD to develop facility layout drawings. Identified and proposed optimization impacting three manufacturing lines with 19% improvement in space utilization.
