• Responsible for overall planning and direction of all quality activities in accordance with local, divisional, and corporate goals, objectives, and policies.• Maintain a functionally integrated Quality Department.• Optimizes all resources within Quality Organization to maximize support. • Assure that the Quality department is staffed with qualified employees.• Responsible for all department planning and the Annual Business Plan• Leads the Business Plan Deployment Process and ensures alignment of goals with other area managers• Effectively selects, develops, motivates and utilizes human resources in accordance with corporate and government policies and procedures• Establishes and shares the vision and sets strategic direction for the Quality Department.

Support the technical business needs of automotive complex leadership, while driving common business practices throughout manufacturing management process.Key performance metrics management.Program execution performance.Internal and External Communication Management

Process capability evaluation, problem solving execution, continuous improvement initiatives.Engineering and Supplier quality management and improvement. Achieve Plant Quality targets (internal & external), Process control assurance, KCC setup & monitoring.Engineering and Plant Operations) to improve Quality on the product. Report Quality issues using GQTS, PRR, PRTS, Cost Recovery, Blue cards, 5 Phase systems and processes. Promote SQIM (Supplier Quality Improvement Method) process to critical Suppliers. Lead receiving inspection activities. Problem Solving Associated with Plant Quality Scorecard Metrics. Direct Run Loss, Direct Run Rate, Internal Assembly Plant Disruptions (weld, torque), 24 Hour CDP, GCA, JD Power, 2 MIS Warranties. To lead and develop warranty and JDP sufficiency.Coordinate SPR at the assembly plant.Strategic Quality Plan Enablers.
